During his time there, he had the opportunity to provide care for a variety of athletes from various backgrounds with a majority being from the local high schools within the area. He received his Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. While in the program he gained experience in a wide variety of settings including the collegiate level. A portion of his clinical rotations were at Creighton University where he worked closely with the Women’s Soccer and Softball team.

Joe returned to Colorado where he held the position of head athletic trainer at Legend High School for the 2022-23 school year. Here he continued to build trusting relationships with athletes and families in addition to encouraging educational opportunities for the athletic training student aides.

Joe is currently the head athletic trainer for the boy’s division at Regis Jesuit High School.  In his spare time, Joe is an outdoor enthusiast that enjoys cycling, running, and hiking. He is originally from the sandy beaches of Florida but has found a love for being in the mountains whenever possible.
